BOXABL STUDIO CASITA

The BOXABL Casita Studio offers several advantages over a traditional manufactured home. Its modular design allows for significantly faster installation, reducing construction time and labor costs. Shipping expenses are typically lower due to its compact, standardized size and packaging. Built with sturdier materials and construction techniques, the Casita Studio offers enhanced durability and longevity. Additionally, its crane-friendly design enables installation in backyards or locations difficult to access, providing greater flexibility. When all costs are factored in, including installation and shipping, the final price of a BOXABL Casita Studio often comes out less than a traditional manufactured home, making it a more cost-effective and lasting option.

Roof Truss and Finish Options

The Casita Boxabl offers various roofing options to suit different aesthetic and functional needs. Roof pitch is a key element that dramatically changes the unit's appearance; a low pitch provides a modern aesthetic, while a steeper pitch lends a more traditional or dramatic feel. Several truss options are available, including the classic triangular Gable, the multi-sloped Hip, and the single-slanted Monoslope. To further customize the roof, different finishes can be applied to each style, such as shingle, metal, TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), and tile. Note: Solar can only be applied to certain roof pitches depending on location and direction.

House Siding Options

Siding choices for the Boxabl Casita offer a range of aesthetic and durability options. Each siding material can significantly alter the unit's style and lifespan. Available options include Hardy plank, which provides a classic and resilient finish, stucco for a textured, contemporary look, Nitchiha panels known for their modern appeal and weather resistance, and log cabin style siding for a rustic, traditional aesthetic. The selected siding plays a key role in both the appearance and long-term resilience of the Casita.

Foundations

The Boxabl Casita offers diverse foundation options tailored to various site conditions and preferences. Standard choices include a solid concrete slab, providing a stable and level base. Alternatively, a concrete perimeter peer and beam foundation can be utilized, which elevates the unit slightly off the ground and is suitable for uneven terrain or areas requiring crawl space access. Each foundation type impacts site preparation requirements and overall installation costs.

Additional Customization

Beyond standard features, the Boxabl Casita offers several add-on options to enhance functionality and aesthetics. These customizations include a wrap-around covered porch, providing additional outdoor living space, and an attached single-car garage for vehicle storage and protection. Extended roof coverage can be incorporated for increased shelter and a more dramatic architectural look, or a front deck area offering a welcoming entry point and further outdoor enjoyment. These add-ons allow for personalized enhancements tailored to specific needs and preferences. These options can be discussed and priced out upon request.
